The PDE message board was born on July 15, 2000 at 9:22:32 in the morning, as Expert made the first post, "Welcome!" on the main board. Unfortunately, those earliest messages were lost (we didn't know you lost topics after passing page 20). Also note that a couple of the really important topics (new member, WRs) are still on the main board, and therefore can't be listed on this page. Here are the earliest topics we still have:
