6-18-01 - First let me clear a few things up. Although I haven't put up any update news sine Jan. 12, that doesn't mean I haven't been playing. I got into it pretty good in Jan and Feb, went back to GE for a while, came back, played on and off, bought Conker's BFD, beat it a few times, and now I'm back. To see how I've moved, check the saved pages section of my History of the PDE site. Also, happy one-year birthday to this page! It turned 12 months old just 11 days ago. But back to the buisness at hand...

For several months now, I've been using this phrase over and over. "There's basically 4 numbers standing in the way of my becoming a truly elite player, points wise. Those being 34, 17, 6, and 10." I think anyone concered about their own point total know what I'm talking about here. Well, two weeks ago Paragon saved me from the horror of that 34 with his new Defection trick, so I've knocked that down to an 8. (7.93 actually, but that's another story.) So last night I sat down and decided I was finally going to do something about both 6 and 10.

Interesting fact, I was, as of just last night, the offical "highest ranked really, really bad Duel player". I define really, really bad as having less than 6 on SA, and a 13 or worst on PA. Needless to say, I was blowing away everyone else with that distinction. And I'm positive that no one with Duel times that bad has spent as much time in the crappy holo room as I have. I've just never been able to get Infil's pause-spin-2.90 trick to work for me. So I didn't enter the Duel with much hope for success.

However, after just a few minutes of work in PA I figured something out about killing Jon. You don't NEED to nail him with a head shot, you can actually just get two quick body shots on him as he pokes out. Knowing this, it wasn't too long before my chest shots connected with Trent just fast enough to squeak by with a 12.98. And that was a horrible run, so I kept at it and hoped for better. After just a few more minutes, a perfect head shot on Jon combined with a decent chest pop on Trent landed me the 11 I was hoping for! I'd gotten consistent enough with Jon killing that I knew I'd have an outside shot at that 6 in SA, so I gave it a shot.

So on my VERY FIRST try, I spin and get a beauty of a head shot on the Agent guard, ending with a 2.85. (Take THAT, Infil's trick! My best during the night was a 2.83) Then I move out and wait, Jon comes walking out like a moron, and BAM, brains line the wall! The body crumples to the floor, and a wonderful 6.95 pops up on screen. I couldn't believe how perfectly the entire run went, it was amazing. And yet, the best was yet to come.

So I said, hey, I'm on a roll, might as well head back to PA. Maybe after a few hours I'll even be able to get that :10 I've always wanted. But somehow the good runs continued, and after just 10+ more mintues I had another chance to improve. I somewhat slow chest shot on the guard gave me a 3.01 heading into Jon. Then perhaps the best head shot ever left me rollin' into Trent with a insane 6.11! I was able to follow it up with one of the best Trent murders in my life, and went temporarily insane when I saw that 10 blink up onto the screen.

As it turned out, I actually was only playing for about an hour and a half. And my new records in that time were enough to gain a full 113 points. Now I've got a great shot at moving way up the point ranks, into the Top 25 and well beyond. I've also gained my 2nd WR that can never be broken, and entered my 2nd Leaderboard. But most importantly, I've never got to touch that black room of horrors again...

1-12-01 - Wow, what an incredible night I had. I was talking to Expert to see what he suggested I work on to break the 2:30 total time mark, and he said Villa PA. I wasn't exactly happy to hear that, since Villa PA has been perhaps my worst level for a long time now, with a terrible, terrible 5:56 that has stood there forever. But I worked and worked on it, and finally everything just came together, like some kind of miracle. As I moved to shoot the first hacker, that magical "Objective 1: Completed" appeared, showing me the Laptop had actually gotten the job done. Then, somehow, my 17 bullets actually were enough to put the hacker down, and not just leave him limping. As I hurried down the stairs, it dawned on me: "Hey, I have almost full health left!" I NEVER have more than a tiny bit of green left at that point! So I go and punch the other hackers in the back of their heads, and suddenly I only have one objective left. It's about here that I broke out into a cold sweat. Oh, man, my heart hasn't beat that hard in a long, long time. I'd forgotten just how incredible a new PR in PD can feel! So I'm trying to keep a solid hold of my controller as I run by these guards, and I get completly caught in the 2nd to last door. A few shots in the back, and suddenly I'm halfway through the red. NO! BUt I managed to punch my way through, and get to the final section. I had a full clip, plus about 15 more, so I was feeling pretty good. I take it real slow, and as I'm coming up on the last guy, I run out of ammo! Fortunatly I picked up a Falcon, so I burst around the corner and blow him away, and hurry though the door. Yes! 2:32!

So, that was enough to but a full 3:24 off my total, and puts me well below the 2:30 mark. And, it leaves me only 7 points behind Wes! So tonight I'm going to improve a little something to bump me ahead. Hopefully this is will be the turning point that gets me hooked back on Perfect Dark!

1-9-01 - I made my triumphant return to PD yesterday, after 2 months and 27 days straight of no new PRs. I worked and got a 1:55 Extraction SA on tape, because I got a capture card for Christmas. So you should be able to watch it soon on BlueDogGreen's proof page. I also tied my old Mr. Blonde PR at 1:51 while making a video there. Hopefully I'll stick with PD, and keep on climbing the charts.

10-13-00 - Ok, I've got 2 goals for this weekend. To pass that infamous 2:30 total times mark (I need exactly 2 minutes) and to pull ahead of Wes for total points. Let's see how I do...

9-18-00 - I'm back into solo missions, and hopefully in a big way! After being bumped down to #13 by Wes McKinney, I've deceided to make a comeback, and I'm doing it in Perfect Agent, which is by far my worst difficulty level. So hopefully I'll be posting alot soon with a whole bunch of new PA times. I want to improve my time for every single level!

9-8-00 - I haven't improved anything for the Solo Elite lately, because I'm working on something different. The License to Kill Elite! This is a league with one-hit kills, so you have to be nearly perfect to complete a level. It's all kinds of fun. I'm adding a new chart to cover the LTK, and then I'll give out the HTML to all the members. It's gona be great!

9-3-00 - Alright, a bunch of new improvements, including breaking the 1 minute mark in Defense, cutting down a bit on Pelagic thanks to the speach skipping, some cutting on SA Pelagic, and a hugely lucky run on Mr. Blonde A that landed me a 1:43. My old best was a 1:51! Man, I hate the level...

Now I just have to keep improving. If I can go at a really good place, I think I can battle for the #6 spot in points by the end of the weekend. Hopefully...

9-2-00 - WOO HOO! 2 new WRs in one night! They are both for AF1, a :58 (not even tied with anyone else! Horray!) and SA a 1:32, which ties the old WR. I share it with 2 others. I also cut way down on PA for Villa and Defection, picking up quite a few points. I'm back in the top 10 for points now, yeah! Just 5 more places to climb to reach my goal...

8-30-00 - I'm back from a 20 day streak of no new PD times! I went on a MK64 binge for the past while. No time to tell you my new times, I'll get some more soon...

8-11-00 - I'm back! And with plenty of new times, especially in PA, which have cut my total time WAY down. I've moved into #5 for total time, and am not to far away from moving up and competing for 4 and 3. Some of the times that I cut way down are: Crash Site, Pelagic II, Extraction, Infiltration, and Escape. Now my goal is to slip back into the top 5 in the point rankings. I've got a ways to go, but I think I can do it. The hard part will be holding on to that position!

8-7-00 - There have been lots of new times, but I don't have time to go over them now. I'm leaving for a short vacation this morning, and won't be back until Friday. I'm expecting Expertgamer and Roco to have passed me up the in rankings when I get back... Oh, well, I'll just have to fight my way back into the top 5. Hey, I beat Maian SOS in PA finally, horry for me! Cya all on Friday!

8-2-00 - First off let me welcome 4 new players to The Elite, 3 of which joined in just the last day. Naterdark, Pretzel, and . Today I improved Air Base SA, and also cut down on AF1 in SA and PA. I'm hoping to get all of the WR's for this stage, that would be very sweet.

8-1-00 - The major overhaul is finished! See all of the improvements? First off, I added that I'm proud to be in the Elite, and a link to my page to find out how to join, at the top. Then, I went and removed all of the gold from my times chart. That gold was there to signify times which would be world records over at Pdark.com/leagues. However, it got to the point where about 50 out of 63 of my times would be WR's there, and almost the entire chart was in gold! So, I've decided to officially take all references to Pdark off of this page, and even wrote something a little bit nasty (but entirely true) about them underneath my table of times. Now everything in gold is a REAL WR, amounst the PD Elite. And then I added a funny little comment to the front of my Proof section...

The biggest news is that the PD World Rankings are now out! Visit the Elite Rankings page to see them all. I started out at #6, but have moved up to #5 overall. Still got a long ways to climb to catch Paragon at #4, but who knows... And I've improved a whole lot of times, including getting a :39 in Chicago SA, just one second from the WR. But I plan on improving a whole lot of stuff in the next few days, especially in SA, where I'm currently my weakest.

Update #2 - WOOHOO, another world record for me! Yes, I just got a :38 in Chicago SA, tying the WR held by Yako and Marshmallow! Then I moved on to PA Chicago and lowered that to a :45. I also set some new times on SA with a 2:15 on Battle Ruins, and a another 2:15, this time on Mr. Blonde PA. And I cut SA Defection down to a :53. So a very good night for me, hopefully I can keep this up and eventually challenge Yako and Paragon for that #3 spot in the point rankings. Wow, that's quite a battle they got going there. And you have to wonder how long it will be before Marshmallow improves some times and tries to pull back ahead of Snap for #1... Yes, there's alot of action atop the PD Elite leaderboard! This is great!

7-28-00 - I forgot 2 very important specs when I gave them yesterday. And they are the following:

Windows 98 (2nd Edition)
DVD/ROM Drive

Which means that I can play DVD's off my computer now, and it's fast enough that I don't have any slow up. I watched the DVD for The Matrix today, and let me just say that it is maybe the coolest thing I've ever seen. You get SO much great new stuff when you get the DVD for this movie. It even includes a quiz show feature, where they ask you questions about the smallest details of the movie, so that only someone who has it basically memorized can win. And it has over an hour of behind the scenes stuff where they show how it was all done, and they have the entire original screen play, and even essays people wrote about the movie.

And then I went and saw X-Men tonight, and it was a very good movie. If you watched the cartoon show when you were younger, or if you collected the comic books, this is a must-see. If you didn't it's still got alot of cool action scenes and some good special effects, so I would suggest checking it out.

Needless to say, I didn't get much PDin' in today. I managed to lower my Deep Sea time by 5 seconds after just a little while of playing, but that's it. I'll play more tomorrow, I've just GOT to catch up to SOMEONE in total Agent time!

7-26-00 - Horry, I'm back for good now, because I've got a brand new computer! It's a "EMachines ETower 533I". Yeah, I'd never heard of EMachines before, either (not that I ever looked at computer ads before our old one broke) but they make a quality PC. If you're interested, here are the specs of my new computer:

533 MHz
64MB RAM
15GB Hardrive
56K Modem

I think that it's a pretty good deal, seeing as how we only paid $400 for it. We could have gotten it for free if we would have paid for MSN internet for 3 years, but that cost $21 a month, and right now I get the 'net for free. Thank you Bluelight.com and FreeInternet.com!

That's all great, but I'm sure you want to hear about PD times news. Well, I tied another WR, with a :29 in WAR! Agent, and also cut my total Agent time way, way down. And with this new strat that we have for Deep Sea, it ought to go down another 15+ seconds soon. I've just GOT to catch someone soon, or I'll go insane! I ought to be back soon with another times update...

7-26-00 - Where have I been, I'm sure everyone wants to know. Well, I'm not on vacation, and I'm still playing alot of PD. What happened is that my computer has broken down. When I tried to start it up on Monday, it couldn't find WIN.COM and so it couldn't load up Windows. If you think about it, it's kind of lucky that our computer has lasted this long, it is 4 1/2 years old. 133Mhz, 16 MB of RAM, 28.8 modem, and 8 GB of hard drive. If you're not into computers, let me rephrase that for you. (Pretty much) DINOSAUR. Anyways, let's get back to PD.

I set a new WR in Agent! Yes, I beat Air Force 1 in 1:02! It was actually a 1:02.56. As soon as I get my computer back up, I'm going to write the full walkthough on our Elite boards, but I don't have the time right now, sorry. I'm doing this from my friend's house, and we have to leave in a couple minutes for his baseball game.

And I've also improved a whole lot of stuff in all the other difficulties, including getting the Pugilist cheat with a 6:20. But unfortunatly I don't have all of my times with me right now, and I no longer know my totals. So I'll give a full update as soon as I get back online. Cya later everyone, and keep playing hard! And welcome to the Elite, Coe brothers!

7-23-00 - Well, my marathon went pretty well, I think. I started out working on PA, and by improving AF1 and Investigation I got my total down into the 2:16's, which moves me back into 3rd place in the Elite. And then I went over to Agent and improved Deep Dea (thanks, Snap!) Crash Site, and Pelagic, moving my total down all the way to 33:15. I hope to break into the 32's soon, and then maybe I'll have a shot at moving ahead of ExpertGamer...

If you haven't noticed, I've added a "Most Wanted List" after the PD Elite's pages. If you're names up there and you're reading this, we'd really like for you to get your page online and join us as soon as you can!

7-22-00 - What is going on here? I haven't improved a single Perfect Dark time in over 48 hours! This whole work thing really sucks. Well, I'm going to do something about this tonight, I'm going to have myself a little Perfect Dark marathon. I've got 5 straight hours of Metallica lined up and my cordless headphones are all ready to go. Also, I only have to work one out of the next 5 days, so watch out Snap, your record just might be in trouble. No, I'm not talking about your 30:12 in Agent, I'm talking your record of 6 1/2 days playing PD solo missions! Cya all later...

7-21-00 - Hey, why am I doing an update? I haven't improved any times today yet. Hm... force of habit, I guess. Well, today I plan to improve alot of stuff, both A and SA. But know what's really weird? I tried to visit my site an hour ago, and it was just this green screen this this crazy black text that didn't make any sense, and then a link to yahoo.com on the bottom. And then I went over to Marshmallow's site, and it showed me a advertisement for some north woods lodge or something. It was crazy. But since you're seeing this, everything must be alright now. Check marshs page just to be sure.

And when this site was down, all of a sudden my :03 in the Duel was taken down off the Elite page, but all my other times were correct. That was a little odd, also.

7-20-00 - I was able to get that :03 in Duel last night. It's nice to know that you have at least one WR that is going to last for all time. Too bad that I completly suck at Duel, otherwise I would have a good shot at :07 in SA now. I guess that shooting has never been my thing, I'm more into running... Hope to cut down more on some SA stuff today and tomorrow morning. Oh, and also dataDyne_Trooper from back at Pdark.com has joined us in The Elite.

7-19-00 - Got a lot of big news today. First off, Marshmallow joined the Elite last night and has completly dominated the PA board. Although my WAR! time has still held on, which I'm very happy about. And then today Greg Jolin, who I know from N64 High Scores has also joined us. So welcome aboard!

Today I did some work on my SA times and cut a few minutes off my total with improvements on G5, Rescue, AF1, Crash Site and Deep Sea. Nothing real close to the WR's (alot of new SA records were set just today). And I also was finally able to cut down on Crash Site in Agent, down to a 1:55. And that was a pretty good run, how Snap can have a run 20+ seconds faster than that is totaly beyond me. But I'll keep trying, I'm sure I can get alot closer. Also, I moved Chicago to a :19 after a while of playing. Eventually I'll get that to a :18, but I think that :17 is beyond me. And a big thank you to Paragon for finding out the secret to getting fast times in The Duel! I'm off to try and get a :03 in Agent right now, thanks for that tip.

7-18-00 - I've tried Maian a couple times since I beat WAR!, but I haven't been able to beat it yet. Eww, that's just not a fun level, compared to good old WAR! But I did notice that one of my PA times hadn't been updated yet, and that was Rescue. I got the cheat (by just one second) a week ago. So I fixed that, now everything should add up right. Hopefully I'll improve some more stuff later today.

7-17-00 - Update #2 - Yes, I did it, I beat War! in PA! In fact, now I've beaten it over 20 times! And, I set 2 new World Records at in in SA and PA. I've got a :57 in SA and a 1:12 in PA. Also, I realized that I didn't have my latest Deep Sea PA time posted, I've really got a 6:26. Which is also a new EWR! And, all of these new times take my PA total down to 2:22:29, moving me to 2nd place in the Elite. Hopefully I'll be able to improve a couple more, and break 20 minutes soon. I'll be back with more times later tonight.

I'm happy to welcome 2 new members to the PD Elite, Jason Summer and Sterling Neblett. Hopefully Sterling will be able to upload all of his times today. Well, I cut down on 2 of my Agent times, Pelagic to a 1:26, and Escape to a 2:52. All I did besides that last night was to try and beat WAR! on PA, and suprisingly I wasn't able to do it. That makes it only the 2nd Perfect Agent level that I haven't been able to beat after one day of trying (A51 Infiltration being the other one) which shows just how tough it is. But twice now I've gotten into the room with King #3, only to miss with a couple of Mauler shots, and then get shot in the back by his Skedar guards. Maybe I should try and use the Slayer on him? Well, I'll give it more tries today, and maybe I'll get my Crash Site time down, too.

7-16-00 - I'm going to keep my news from yesterday up, just in case someone wants to read it who hasn't seen it yet. The message board idea really took off, and we now have our own board, it's right here: The Perfect Dark Elite Message Board. Yes, I now have the best strats for Crash Site and Pelagic II, so those times are going way down. Last night I tried to beat SA in under an hour, and I got pretty close. My total is now down to 1.00:33. I think I'll be able to get under it in under an hour. Then I'd be the first of the Elite to get under an hour! I'll add some more times later today. And welcome to the PD Elite, Craig Makepeace! Or Shock, as we'll call you now.

Part II - Ok, thanks to that great Pelagic II strat I heard, I was able to take my time all the way down to a 1:30, which lowered my total Agent time down quite a bit. Now I've just got to cut down on that Crash Site time of mine. I know what to do, but I have alot of problems trying to find the little dark hole that you're supposed to fit through. After a little more practice, that will go way down.

But the coolest thing is that I just became the first one of The Elite to break 1 hour for SA time! I did I by improving my Escape EWR (Elite World Record, we should call them that, don't you think?) to a 5:11, and then taking Battle Ruins down to a 2:38. So my new total is 59:50. It's funny, I'm 10 seconds behind Snap in Ruins Agent, and now I'm 10 behind in SA, too. I'll keep working on SA, and throwing in some A on the side for the rest of today.

---

7-15-00 - I'm finally back from vacation, and this time I'm here to stay! I ought to be able to keep on competing at PD for the rest of the summer now. Well, let me just say that I have never been happier to be a part of The Perfect Dark Elite than I am right now. SnapDragon, the genius that he is, has created an official records page for everyone in the PD Elite! It is undoubtably the coolest rankings page that I have ever seen, everyone who is into Perfect Dark should go and check it out RIGHT NOW. The Rankings Page. You probably think I'm done talking about how cool this page is, but I'm not. Because not only does it rank us by total time for A, SA, and PA, but it also shows the world record for each level, and when you click that time you can view the rankings for that level. Hey, who needs PDark.com? Thanks, Snap, that is the greatest!

The only thing more that I can ask for would be if (sometime in the future, maybe in a few weeks, after we've all played SA and PA more) Snap would put in a real rankings system. By that I mean exactly what we had back in the Goldeneye days. Snap, if you're reading this, check out the GE rankings page. It's here: GE World Rankings. There's a number for each difficulty, and then a total. To see how it was done, check out the link "How Were The Rankings Calculated?". But like I said, I'm not saying it should be put in right away, but in a couple of weeks it would be very cool. I don't really know how hard that would be to set up, but I don't think it would be too bad, would it? Then again, I have no idea how you got the tables we have right now to work, so I'm not the man to ask... But just let me say it again, thanks Snap, that is so incredibly cool that you set that up for us!

Ok, now that I'm done ranting about The Rankings time to get back to my times. I improved only two times since last update, but one of them I'm VERy proud of. In fact, it ties the PD Elite World Record! I just got a 1:04 in Air Force 1! At least 2 seconds faster is possible with that strat that I'm using right now. The other time was a one second improvement in Mr. Blonde, a still-incredibly-pathetic 1:57. I'm totally stumped about the improvements everyone has made in a couple of levels while I was gone, especially in Extraction, G5 (:53!!?), Crash Site, Pelagic, and Blonde. And I still don't get Maian SOS! How many times do I have to play that stupid level until the elevator is right? I guess that I'll have to get back in touch with all of the Elite's through E-mail to catch up on these new strategies. Also, I've got a great idea that will be in your mailboxes within a few hours, watch for it.

---

Update #2 - Wow, I had a great night of PD playing. I'm kind of waiting for some help to improve my slower Agent times, so I spent the time playing SA. I pretty much went back and played every level twice or three times. After only playing for a little while, I improved almost all my times, and became the new #1 overall in SA amounst us PD Elite! The new record is 1.01:40, just moving past Snap by a little bit. I'm hoping to pass that 1 hour mark before tomorrow afternoon, and I think I'll be able to do it. I picked up about 5 new Elite WR's while I was at it.

Not that I'm making this a new challenge or anything. In fact, I'd rather if we kept at Agent for a while longer, and just let me sit at the top of the SA chart for a few days. Well, if you want to start in on SA, you can. It's nice to only play a level twice and cut 2 minutes off your time, rather than play 2 hours to cut off 2 seconds.

7-7-00 - Well, it's a little bit past midnight, so that means it's officialy July 7. And I think we all know what that means. Yep, it's this sites 1 month birthday! Happy 1 month birthday, PDarkTimes! Wow, I never thought that I would be closing in on 500 hits after only a little more than a month of being online. Thanks for visiting everyone, and keep coming back!

Unfortunatly, I also have some less happy news. This will probably be the last update that this site sees for the next 9 days, as I will be leaving for a vacation today at 3:00, and I won't ever be anywhere near a computer. But expect a big update on Sat the 15th, and I will be back for good then. Hey, who knows, maybe Pdark.com will even be back online by then(!).

Well, I was able to break into the 34's for my total tonight, thanks mostly to Air Base, which I cut down to 1:31. Also I cut Deep Sea down to 3:34, and AF1 to 1:06. But I'm proudest of the work I did in CI Defense, where I got my time down all the way to a 1:06! I've been very close to 1:05 several times, too.

Well, cya all later, keep on playing hard, and hopefully you'll be able to clue me in as to what I missed on the message boards when I get back. Bye...

7-6-00 - Whoa! Did my idea for the Elite PD Players to link to each other's pages ever take off! Almost everyone has joined in, and hopefully anyone who hasn't yet will by the end of the day.

I sure had a great PD playing day yesterday! I started out with A51 Infiltration in Agent, and after 3 tries I made it into the lift on time, and to my suprise ended up with a time of 1:26! So I played it again, and I got a 1:25 next try! After a few more tries, I got down to 1:24. Then on my very next attempt, I got 1:24.10. SO close to the record... But I kept at it, and eventually came away with a 1:23, tying Snap's WR. But that wasn't all. After moving onto another level, I came back to Infiltration, had a really great (but not perfect) run, and as I entered the door at the end, I had a 1:22.93! Yes, I had a new WR, I thought. But then the next screen came up, and I only got credit for another 1:23. Stupid 1/10 of a second before the cut-sceen starts...

Well, that was great, but what I really needed was to cut down on my total time. And I did that by lowering G5 down to a 1:17, taking Air Force 1 down to a 1:09, and moving Crash Site down to 2:11. That made my new total 35:22. My goal is to break into the 34's by the end of the day. Hopefully I'll be able to do that easily, thanks to Yako and PerfectLight's help with my 2 of my worse times, Air Base and Maian SOS. But I still could use some Crash Site tips... Well, I'll send someone an E-mail about that... Watch for another update later today!

7-5-00 - I'm back, I'm back! Unfortunatly, I will soon be going again... This Friday night, I'm going to leave for a vacation for a week, not getting back until Saturday the 15th. But although I'll be away from the computer, I will be bringing PD along with me, so I'll still be improving a few times. So all of my hundreds and hundreds of fans had better enjoy me while I'm here!

I just came up with a great idea. How about if all of us elite players link to each others pages, to make moving around and checking the sites easier? I'll get it started right now... Ok, I just finished up. And just so you know, I listed you alphabetically by your handle at Pdark.com. But does anyone know the URL of Rayden's page? I can't remember. E-mail it to me, please, Mr1166@hotmail.com.

Ok, back to Perfect Dark. I'm right now trying to get all of the cheats, and I've only got one left to get! Just Pugilist Buddy from Investigation SA. I'm hoping to get the today. Also, I got a (WR?) for Extraction Agent, 1:27. Please don't beat it! Please!

6-30-00 - After beating PA the other night, I went back and improved all of my more slow Agent times, which brought my total time down to a 36:34 for Agent, the fastest I've ever seen anywhere. Not that it can't be broken, but I think it's pretty nice. Also, just a few hours ago I earned the All Guns Cheat! I beat Ruins in 3:45 in PA to get it. I also earned the cheat from Pelagic II yesterday, so now I've only got 3 more to get. I don't think any of them will give me too much of a problem. I didn't get any new WR times today, because I was having too much fun screwing around with All Guns. He he, that's one fun cheat.

6-28-00 - I beat the game in Perfect Agent last night! It took me quite a while to finally figure out the best strategy for Pelagic II, but once I found it I beat it. Then came Attack Ship. All of that playing in SA (3:37, still a second off the record) really helped me out, because I knew exactly where every Skedar was, and it made the level pretty easy. I beat it on my 5th try (just got a few unlucky missed with my Mauler that kept me from beating it the other times). Then I had finally opened up Battle Ruins. My first try I got smoked by the secret army (just cause I didn't know their order), but I beat it on my second try. I played WAR! and was able to beat it on A and SA, and hopefully I'll be able to beat it on PA in a little while.

So for right now it's back to good old playing for times. And I'm also going to try and get the 5 cheats I need: Pelagic II SA, and then PA for Investigation, Rescue, Deep Sea, and Ruins. But being able to beat all of Perfect Agent in only 4 days was quite the rush! It was great fun!
